Partsbit — German auto-parts marketplace
What we shipped
Key outcomes
- Ongoing Drupal 7 support — 2.4M+ parts catalog, 50+ custom modules across commerce, imports and search
- Import / export pipeline work: supplier feeds, parts classification, shipping, comparison-portal exports
- GPSR (EU) compliance + SEO upkeep for a multi-million-URL catalog; ongoing bug fixes and feature work
Partsbit is a German auto-parts marketplace with over 2.4 million used and new parts in catalogue. The site runs on Drupal 7 — a long-lived legacy build with substantial custom logic across 50+ custom modules. We've been supporting it since 2025: bug fixes, feature additions, and steady evolution of the marketplace core.
The heaviest custom work lives in the import / export pipeline — supplier feeds, parts classification across car models and OE numbers, shipping data flows, and comparison-portal exports. On top of that sits the commerce stack, GPSR compliance for the EU regulatory regime that came into force end of 2024, faceted search across the catalogue, and SEO maintenance for a store with millions of URLs.
