AWHelp24 — 24/7 emergency-assist platform
What we shipped
Key outcomes
- Audit + security cleanup — backdoors removed; secrets moved to .env outside webroot
- Full blog redesign (backend + front-end); section improvements and styling across the site
- Drupal 11 + Vue.js front-end, Braintree (payment) and Zadarma (telephony) integrations
AWHelp24 is a Germany-wide 24/7 emergency-assistance platform on Drupal 11. We picked it up in 2025 starting with an audit — and surfaced a couple of unwelcome things: backdoors in the codebase, and secrets that had been committed inside the webroot. Those got cleaned out and the secrets moved into a proper .env outside the webroot. Only then did we move into the regular support cadence.
Regular work covers section improvements and styling, core and contrib module updates, and a full blog redesign delivered as both backend and front-end work. The site uses Vue.js for the interactive bits, integrates with Braintree for payment and Zadarma for telephony — so the surface area is broader than a typical content site, and audits feed back into the support cadence rather than being a one-off.
